GAP Power Solutions, a division of GAP Group, is seeking a Generator Engineer to service and repair Stage V generators and related power equipment across customer sites. The role is based from our depot in Carnforth and requires travel to client sites to diagnose faults and update service records, supporting the GAP fleet.
Candidates should have proven diesel generator experience, current Stage V knowledge, and a customer‑focused approach. A valid driving licence is essential for this field role.

As a sub division of GAP Pump Services, GAP Power Solutions provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for our stage V generator fleet, including associated ancillaries. GAP Power Solutions includes a large range of generators, fuel Tanks, Cables and MDU/AMF panels power solutions.
As a Generator Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the success of the region by ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of Power services & equipment within the GAP fleet.
As part of our high-performing regional team, you will be responsible for traveling across our customer sites to identify and repair any faults or damage to equipment including Stage V Generators, AMF/MDU and Distribution & Cable, whilst accurately updating service records.
**Please note, this role will be based out of our depot in Carnforth and therefore candidates should be suitably located.
