Role Overview:

As the Regional General Manager, you will take full accountability for the relevant contract within the North region, playing a key role in the strategic development across several sites, including a large warehouse and final mile transport operations. You will be required to manage change and drive performance to ensure we meet our high standards of service and efficiency.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

1. Oversee the operational performance in the North Region.
2. Ensure safety, quality, compliance, and achievement of customer/DHL KPIs.
3. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
4. Drive financial performance through operational excellence and continuous improvement.
5. Ensure legal compliance and safe practices in warehouse and transport functions.
6. Monitor operational performance regularly against KPIs.
7. Foster collaboration and continuous improvement with DHL and customers.
8. Maximize efficiency in warehouse and transport operations.
9. Lead teams to cultivate a culture of respect and results.

1. Proven experience in managing transport and warehouse operations within a dynamic Supply Chain Division.
2. Desirable - final mile delivery experience to enhance our delivery capabilities.
3. Demonstrated success in achieving strong financial and operational results, showcasing your impact on business performance.
4. Background in retail and logistics/warehouse management, bringing a well-rounded perspective to the role.
5. General management experience with P&L responsibility, highlighting your ability to drive profitability.
6. Strong customer engagement and management skills, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
7. Experience collaborating with unions, fostering positive workplace relationships.
8. Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and processes, enabling you to drive efficiency and innovation.
