Job summary

Sureserve is seeking a Regional Manager to lead our gas engineering teams across the Midlands and East regions. You will provide technical support, drive performance, and recruit and develop qualified engineers to meet client expectations.

You will report to senior management, oversee regional budget planning, and ensure adherence to safety, compliance and quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Management experience in a similar sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness with a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop an engaged regional team through HR processes.
• Provide technical support and training to gas engineers, and meet company objectives.
• Liaise with senior management and report regional developments.
• Represent the company professionally in client meetings and forums.
• Maintain records of communications, site visits and meetings.
• Drive regional strategy implementation and budget planning.
• Manage regional finances including annual budget and reforecasts.
• Maintain relationships with customers, supply chain and workforce.
• Analyze key metrics and prepare regional performance reports.
