Aldwych Consulting Ltd is recruiting a Regional Finance Director for a leading UK housebuilder. Based in Kent, you will join the senior regional management team and partner with the MD to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.

This is a high-profile leadership role with oversight of land acquisitions, developments and robust financial controls, reporting, and governance across the regional operation.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Post-qualified experience across commercial/business finance and financial control.
• Experience leading month-end, forecasting, planning and financial reporting.
• Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing and developing a finance team.
• Ideally experience within housebuilding, construction, property or another development-led environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional finance function and team.
• Partner with the MD on business strategy, performance and new business decisions.
• Oversee land acquisitions and new developments financials.
• Challenge budgets, forecasts, CVRs, costs and cash flow.
• Identify commercial opportunities, risks and mitigation strategies.
• Drive robust financial controls, governance and reporting.
• Support optimisation of the regional landbank and site performance.
• Provide financial insight to senior regional and divisional leadership.
