Job summary

A leading UK housebuilder seeks a Regional Finance Director to join its senior regional management team in Kent. You will drive financial performance, support strategic decisions and oversee land acquisitions and developments.

This is a senior commercially focused role, with influence across MD, Commercial, Production, Sales and Land teams. You’ll lead a regional finance function, challenge budgets and provide robust financial insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience across commercial finance and financial control.
• Leading month-end, forecasting, planning and financial reporting.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing and developing a finance team.
• Experience in housebuilding/construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading the regional finance function and team.
• Partnering with the MD on business strategy, performance and new business decisions.
• Financial oversight of land acquisitions and new developments.
• Challenging budgets, forecasts, CVRs, costs and cash flow.
• Identifying commercial opportunities, risks and mitigation strategies.
• Driving robust financial controls, governance and reporting.
• Supporting optimisation of the regional landbank and site performance.
• Providing financial insight to senior regional and divisional leadership.
