National Grid Electricity Distribution is seeking a Team Leader based in Weston-Super-Mare on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will lead a craft operations team, ensuring compliance with H&S policies, efficient scheduling and performance management across a regional area.

The role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach, and the ability to coordinate multiple work programmes while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing teams and driving performance.
• Full, valid UK driving licence for site visits.
• Ability to plan and coordinate programmes of work.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• NRSWA knowledge desirable, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure teams adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
• Efficient scheduling of work activities.
• Collaborate with other teams to manage workload.
• Drive team productivity and manage individual performance.
• Maintain a full schedule of work for the team.
• Ensure training and authorisations to support safe, productive operations.
• Respond quickly and professionally to customer complaints.
