Job summary

GLF Schools is seeking a Senior IT Technician to work across multiple schools in the region, providing first and second line IT support and coordinating with Central IT. The successful candidate will travel between sites to resolve hardware and software issues and support a growing academy network.

The role is a field position with 36 hours per week, based at Highdown School, Reading, and requires a driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar IT role.
• Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line IT support in the field across multiple schools.
• Carry out regular scheduled and ad hoc visits to schools within the region; install, configure and deploy IT systems.
• Work with wider IT teams and school staff to resolve issues and improve service.
