Job summary
Bodycote is seeking a Regional Engineer based in Coventry to provide technical leadership across UK sites. You will drive improvements in equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and safety while coordinating across regional teams and supporting site projects.
The role requires regular UK travel and overnight stays, with a focus on reducing downtime and delivering reliable, compliant operations. The successful candidate will lead regional engineering teams and uphold high engineering

- Proven engineering leadership in multi-site manufacturing.
- Strong maintenance and asset-reliability background.
Responsibilities
- Provide regional engineering leadership across Bodycote’s UK sites to improve reliability and performance.
- Lead and develop engineering teams through recruitment, training, and succession planning.
- Monitor MTTR and MTBF; oversee maintenance, spares, and CMMS activity to reduce downtime.
- Coordinate technical escalation during equipment failures and support safety/compliance initiatives.
