Job summary

EMCOR UK invites applications for a Senior Regional Engineering role focused on leading multi‑site technical services across Cambridge, Norwich and surrounding areas. You will supervise multi‑skilled teams, coordinate maintenance activities and ensure delivery against contractual SLAs with safety and quality at the forefront.

The ideal candidate has five years+ in building services leadership, an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification, and strong communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in technical services management/supervision in building services.
• HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant vocational qualification.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and act as senior regional contact.
• Provide regional supervision to multi‑skilled engineering teams and ensure work meets contractual requirements.
• Coordinate manpower, skills deployment and service resilience during peak demand.
• Work with Business Support to ensure maintenance work orders are completed within SLAs/KPIs.
• Communicate with local client representatives on performance and priorities.
• Mentor and support engineering teams through training and guidance.
• Act as technical escalation point and provide hands‑on support during incidents.
• Conduct audits of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction to meet EMCOR standards.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with SLAs and safety.
• Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed on schedule and issues escalated as needed.
• Support defect rectification and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Maintain on‑call duties and optimise rota coverage.
• Oversee HV/LV Authorised Person duties when appointed and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety culture with monthly site audits and toolbox talks.
• Analyse performance data and implement improvement actions.
• Lead energy efficiency initiatives across buildings and assets.
• Deliver reports to Operations Delivery Manager showing performance against targets.
