Job summary

Reliability Engineer role based in Kent with a leading UK manufacturing business. You will lead RCFA investigations, develop preventative maintenance strategies and drive reliability improvements across a large site.

You'll work closely with production and engineering teams, apply condition monitoring and vibration analysis, and manage small improvement projects to reduce downtime and enhance plant performance. Our client values engineering excellence and long-term career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in Reliability, Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering in heavy manufacturing or process environments.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and condition based maintenance techniques.
• Experience with RCFA, FMEA or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead RCFA investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance strategies.
• Support reliability initiatives including vibration analysis, oil analysis and condition monitoring.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Manage small improvement projects focused on safety, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Use SAP PM and engineering data to identify trends and optimise maintenance activities.
