Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the Yorkshire & North East region, selling pre-insulated district heating pipework solutions to contractors, wholesalers, consultants and clients.

The role emphasizes generating new business, meeting sales targets, and maintaining proactive planning. You will train and support contractors on site, using CRM to capture customer and competitor insights, and contribute to region-wide growth.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in the construction industry with specifiers and contractors.
• Experience in district heating projects or low carbon heating is desirable.
• Site experience is essential due to on-site training and support for contractors.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business for the company’s district heating pipework solutions.
• Sell to contractors, wholesalers, building services consultants and clients.
• Meet sales and profitability targets.
• Maintain regular planning and reporting.
• Understand and interpret customer needs.
• Prospect and follow up with potential customers.
• Utilise CRM systems to track customer and competitor insights.
