Job summary

MGF is recruiting a Regional Engineer based at our Rugeley Depot, covering the Midlands. You will connect engineering and commercial teams, attend meetings, oversee projects, and present to customers.

You’ll prepare temporary works designs, check drawings, and support on-site and design delivery throughout the project lifecycle. We seek a Civil/Structural Eng with 2–3 years in temporary works, CDM 2015 awareness, CAD/Revit capability, and a drive toward professional registration.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2-3 years experience in temporary works.
• Ability to apply knowledge to temporary works solutions.
• Willingness to take responsibility and use engineering judgement.
• Understanding of CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Act as key link between engineering and commercial functions.
• Provide engineering advice and guidance at meetings.
• Understand regional projects and sectors of work.
• Build relationships with key customers and individuals.
• Develop new relationships as required.
• Present in person or virtually.
• Produce temporary works designs and drawings.
• Check designs and drawings for accuracy.
• Increase MGF brand awareness and regional profile.
• Learn and use MGF internal systems.
• Contribute to regional sales meetings.
• Attend Regional Engineering and Design meetings as required.
• Receive internal design brief training.
• Assist other areas where value can be added.
• Support CPD accreditation and H&S input.
