Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery across major projects from our Hatfield head office, with weekly site visits in London and the South East.

You will manage risk, profitability and contract obligations, lead on financial issues, and mentor regional teams while upholding SHEQ standards. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior surveying role reporting to a commercial lead or director.
• Experience with JCT, NEC or PPC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial elements on large projects or a portfolio.
• Lead on financial and commercial issues, maximise profitability.
• Identify and manage risk with mitigation measures.
• Maintain strong relationships with external parties and ensure SHEQ compliance.
