Job summary

Dalkia is recruiting a Commercial Manager to take ownership of the commercial strategy, governance and performance on a large MK/London-based project. You will lead pre-construction through final account, protecting margins and driving profitable delivery in a hybrid role across Milton Keynes, home and Moorgate offices.

The role requires senior commercial leadership experience in M&E, strong contract knowledge (JCT/NEC), and a strategic yet hands-on approach to maximise value and manage risk.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior commercial leadership role within an M&E installation organisation.
• Experience managing commercial performance within a region generating approximately £30m turnover.
• Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Degree qualification (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying.
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required.
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing and managing commercial teams.

Dalkia Engineering is a leading M&E installation and engineering business delivering high-quality building services and engineering solutions across healthcare, defence, government, aviation, industrial and infrastructure sectors. As part of our exciting growth plans, we are expanding our presence and undertaking a large project in the Milton Keynes area and are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Commercial Manager to play a pivotal leadership role in this project.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Regional Director, helping shape and grow a new regional operation while driving commercial performance across a complex and high-value project.

What you'll be doing;

As Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial strategy, governance and performance of this project. You will lead all commercial activities from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring the project is delivered profitably while protecting margins, managing risk and supporting sustainable growth.

It is a hybrid role between the Milton Keynes site, home and the office in London, Moorgate.
