The Vacancy
We are looking for an experienced and commercially astute Regional Commercial Director to join the team. This strategic role reports directly to the Group Commercial Director and involves shaping regional performance and driving commercial excellence.
About the Role
Reporting to the Business Unit Commercial Director, you will support the Regional Business Managing Director/Operations Directors. Lead the commercial teams on subcontract tender procurement, strategy, risk management, pre and post-contract activities, margin improvement, and people development.
Key responsibilities for overseeing & managing a turnover of around £80m include:
The ideal candidate will lead the regional commercial function, maintain strong relationships, and be recognized as a commercial expert. They should possess excellent commercial and financial acumen, strong decision-making skills, and a logical approach to problem-solving. Commitment to accurate financial reporting, team development, and effective subcontractor management is essential. Promoting H&S standards and good negotiation skills are also required.
