Job summary

The Health and Safety Partnership Limited is seeking an experienced Associate CDM Principal Designer Lead to head its Principal Designer service in the Midlands. The hybrid role is based near Birmingham with travel across the region and occasional UK travel.

As a senior leader you will balance technical delivery with people leadership, shape regional strategy and win new work while mentoring a regional team of CDM professionals.

Qualifications

• Strong CDM Principal Designer delivery across multiple sectors.
• Excellent knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Commercial mindset with experience supporting business development and winning work.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across a regional portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a regional team of CDM professionals.
• Deliver CDM Principal Designer services across a varied portfolio of construction projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to fee proposals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to provide CDM and health & safety advice.
• Ensure compliance with the CDM Regulations 2015.
• Contribute to regional planning, resource management and service improvement.
