Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to deliver induction and development training across a defined regional cluster. Travel between Banbury, Tewkesbury, Malvern and Oxford will be required, with home-based tasks supported by a company car and equipment.

The role requires C&G 7300 or equivalent, a Diploma 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent social care experience), knowledge of care-sector legislation, at least 2 years of training experience, and a full UK driving

Qualifications

C&G 7300 (or equivalent) qualification is required.
Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or experience in social care sector is required.
Working knowledge of legislative requirements in care sector is required.
2 years training experience is required.
Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver induction and development training across Barchester objectives and training statistics.
Provide practical, hands-on training across a variety of subjects.
Plan and publish training calendars and maintain training files.
Observe workplace practice and support new team members with coaching.
Attend external meetings and conferences as required; promote learning opportunities.
Work with Home Managers to implement individual personal development plans.
