Shaw Healthcare seeks a Regional Operations Director to lead elderly residential and nursing care across a Leicester–Manchester corridor. You will drive regional performance, quality and financial results, shaping strategy and building high-performing teams while ensuring safe, person-centred care and regulatory compliance.

The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and offers a competitive package up to £110,000, car allowance and bonus, plus pension and private healthcare.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3–5 years' senior multi-site management within elderly residential and/or nursing care.
• Proven track record of leading operational teams and delivering strong financial, quality and compliance outcomes.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, safeguarding, quality assurance and care service improvement.
• Experience with budget management and financial KPIs; commercial decision-making.
• Experience developing leaders, managing performance and driving organisational change.

• Provide inspiring, visible leadership across a portfolio of residential and nursing care services.
• Coach, mentor and performance-manage Operations Managers; develop leadership capability and succession plans.
• Drive recruitment, retention and workforce planning to reduce turnover and agency reliance.
• Foster a positive, accountable culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Ensure services meet regulatory requirements and achieve high quality standards; oversee monthly quality audits.
• Take full regional P&L accountability, manage multi-million-pound budgets and deliver financial objectives.
• Identify and develop commercial opportunities; collaborate with Commercial team to maximise regional growth.
