Job summary

Forestry And Land Scotland is seeking a Business Support Officer to join the Central Region's Business Support Team on a 12-month fixed-term, hybrid role based at the West Calder office.

You will coordinate training, administer fleets, process land-based permissions, support sustainability initiatives and manage the Peoplesafe lone working platform, while delivering high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with a range of stakeholders.
• Experience handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office packages is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training across the region.
• Administer vehicle, machinery and equipment fleets.
• Process land-based permission requests.
• Support business sustainability initiatives.
• Manage local administration of the Peoplesafe lone working platform.
• Provide high-quality customer service to stakeholders.
• Support West Calder office operations, including reception duties.
• Handle enquiries and accept deliveries.
• Provide secretariat support when required.
