Countryside Classroom in Scotland is seeking an Operations Forester to join the Land Management Delivery Team in the South Region. You’ll be based at the Straiton Office in South Ayrshire and work across southern Scotland to deliver forestry operations.

The role focuses on establishing and maintaining forests, woodland creation projects, and stewardship activities, coordinating with contractors and communities to meet climate, biodiversity and sustainable land goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in forestry or related land management.
• Strong communication and workload prioritisation skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver forest establishment and maintenance programmes across your area.
• Oversee woodland creation projects and broader stewardship activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, contractors, stakeholders and local communities to ensure successful forestry operations.
