Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to drive SME merchant sales of our payment solutions across a defined UK territory. You will own the self-generated pipeline and build relationships with introducers and local networks.

You will develop monthly sales strategies, hit targets, and collaborate with customer service to ensure a seamless experience for customers while identifying cross-selling opportunities and feeding market insights back to the Regional Director.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in targeted B2B field sales (Merchant Sales Experience Essential).
• Comfortable selling to C-level executives and decision-makers.
• Excellent consultative approach, solution selling, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets aligned to overall company objectives.
• Develop monthly strategy and business plan for innovative ideas to attract new business and extend market share.
• Generate new business and manage a pipeline of self-generated leads using Salesforce.
• Build relationships across local business networks, join forums and attend events.
