Job summary

Believ is seeking a Regional Build Director to own delivery outcomes for the local authority build programme across a designated UK region, translating build-ready sites into installed, energised and operational charge points on time and within budget.

You will report to the Chief Operations Officer and lead Senior Programme Managers across multi-disciplinary build squads, driving regional performance, capacity, and readiness.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading multi-site infrastructure delivery at scale, with accountability for programme, cost and quality.
• Track record of leading leaders: managing managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering infrastructure in local authority on-street and car park environments.
• Strong knowledge of DNO connection processes and energising infrastructure at scale.
• Experience managing multi-contractor delivery models and supply chain growth.
• Commercial acumen with managing a delivery budget, forecasting volumes and variance.
• Data as a management tool: KPI ownership, dashboards, and data-driven performance.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders, including councils, contractors, residents and executives.
• Willingness to travel across the allocated UK region with full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Regional Delivery Ownership across the region, ensuring on-time, on-budget build outcomes.
• Squad Leadership & Capability: lead Senior Programme Managers and multi-disciplinary squads.
• Site handover, build readiness and acceptance for installed charge points.
• Connections, metering & energisation of new infrastructure at scale.
• Contractor & supply chain management for multi-contractor delivery models.
• Customer, client & community engagement to support project delivery.
• Commissioning, quality & handover activities throughout projects.
• Safety, data governance, and reporting for all regional builds.
• Senior leadership with autonomy at the frontline of the UK's EV transition.
