Job summary

ASDA is seeking an experienced Asset Construction Manager to lead retail asset projects across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England. Based at Asda Living Glasgow Fort, you will manage scopes, programmes and costs while upholding high Safety, Health & Environment standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires coordination with external design teams, strong planning, and travel as needed. 36 hours per week; permanent, full-time contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead an external Design Team through design meetings and site meetings to ensure the scope is delivered to cost, programme and quality in store enhancements and standalone asset projects.
• Develop programme and chasing to minimise disruption and impact to operations, and identify, mitigate, monitor and control risks within the project scope.
• Manage project costs and adhere to all financial processes and controls.
• Deliver and ensure CDM duties are met and manage CDM regulations and ASDA Ways of Working to comply with legal construction regulations and permits.
• Work with City FM to ensure alignment across all work areas and that work follows the ASDA model specification.
