Job summary

Asda is seeking an Asset Construction Manager to lead Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England retail asset projects, coordinating design, cost and quality.

You will manage external design teams, drive programmes, monitor risks, control costs, ensure CDM compliance and align with ASDA Ways of Working.

The role offers hybrid working with minimum 3 days in a Home Office, and requires based in Scotland with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a varied range of retail asset projects, car parks and store enhancements within Scotland, NI and North of England.
• Lead an external Design Team to meet scope, cost, programme and quality targets.
• Develop programme and tracking to minimise disruption to store operations.
• Manage project costs and ensure adherence to financial controls.
• Deliver CDM compliance and alignment with ASDA Ways of Working.
• Collaborate with City FM to align work with Asda specifications.
• Highlight opportunities to improve lifecycle costing and EDLC.
• Engage stakeholders to secure scheme approvals from Senior Leadership.
