Job summary

The DX Group in Gloucestershire is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead regional sales initiatives across our logistics services. You will build relationships with current and prospective customers and work closely with the General Manager to execute the local sales plan.

The role offers up to £47,900 salary with car allowance, uncapped commission on top of base pay, and a pathway to drive growth across Freight, Parcel, and Fulfilment services.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in the Logistics/Parcels/Freight industry is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with the General Manager & Regional Sales Manager to implement the sales strategy and business plan for the area.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets in line with DX growth across all services.
• Define and manage customer prospects to maximise sales growth.
• Work with the DX Bid Management Team, to deliver effective tender responses to specific customer opportunities.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the DX Group product portfolio and tailor those benefits to the needs of the customer.
• Submit accurate and timely business forecasts and chair regular sales meetings.
• Use the sales tools in line with the agreed sales process to maintain and develop sales pipeline and customer information.
