Job summary

Selwood is seeking a Regional Account Manager to cover the Leeds area, promoting the best technical pumping solutions to maximise revenues from customers. You will support National Account clients and develop local relationships across sites.

In this role you will manage key local accounts and major projects, drive sales, and maintain strong communication with the team to grow owned accounts nationally. A pro-active, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Hire Industry.
• Proven track record within sales.
• History of delivering new accounts and developing, growing existing accounts.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal Stakeholders.
• Technical Pump knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
• Self-motivator.
• Demonstrable time management skills.
• Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys and produce risk assessments and method statements; liaise with customer quality and safety reps.
• Produce Job Prices (Hire System) for pumping equipment supply and installation.
• Own all quotations and chase them up with urgency.
• Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the pump range and services.
• Demonstrate good commercial awareness.
• Keep up to date with changes in technology and the customer's industry sector.
• Demonstrate structured sales planning using Outlook/CRM.
