Job summary

Selwood, a leading pump rental solutions company in the UK, invites an experienced Territory Manager to join our London branch and manage a defined geographic area. You will promote profitable hire revenues and build meaningful local relationships while delivering expert technical advice and solutions to client pump requirements.

You'll identify revenue opportunities within projects, collaborate with internal teams, and manage quotations through inception to completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a field based sales role.
• Demonstrable knowledge of growth in sales and rental orientated business.
• Ability to work one-on-one with customers and team members to accelerate profitable growth.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent planning and organising skills with efficient time management.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• IT proficiency with sales management systems.
• Pump rental or pump sales background is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop an expert understanding of pump range and services, including latest technological developments.
• Grow and develop local business, managing portfolio and partnerships.
• Collaborate with operational, hire desk and technical solutions teams.
• Understand and monitor client spend to predict future growth.
• Identify solutions early by engaging with customers to understand projects.
• Project manage all solutions from inception to completion, including technical, installation and financials.
• Prepare quotations, balancing business profit with long-term customer relations.
