Job Description

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Management: Oversee full lifecycle of industrial plant and facility construction projects, ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Design & Technical Management: Collaborate with UK and China teams, ensure designs meet UK standards, and optimize designs for cost and quality.
• Construction Management: Manage construction activities, monitor progress, enforce safety and quality standards.
• Resource Management: Evaluate and select design firms and contractors, manage resources, and oversee contracts and stakeholder relationships.
• Financial Oversight: Develop budgets, control costs, and manage project finances.
• Handover & Closeout: Conduct inspections, ensure compliance, and facilitate project handover.
• Additional Duties: Train teams, optimize processes, and perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• 10+ years UK industrial project experience, preferably in heavy industries.
• Successfully delivered at least 2 UK industrial projects (≥£30M each).
• Certifications such as APM/PMP or RICS/MICE advantageous.
• Knowledge of UK regulations, standards, and project workflows.
• Strong engineering background in civil/structural/MEP.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Project, BIM-Revit, Primavera, and project management methodologies.
• UK nationality or valid work rights required.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate: CEng
• Experience with Chinese overseas projects or Chinese companies.
