DataX Connect have partnered with a global leading general contractor in their search for a BMS Project Lead to work on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the West London area.

The role

• As the BMS Project Lead you will play a major role in delivering one of the largest data centre projects in the UK.
• You will be overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Energy Power Management Systems (EPMS), and all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across various data centre facilities.
• Ensure that all systems comply with the end clients established performance, reliability, and security standards.
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of the BAS, EPMS, and other HVAC systems, confirming adherence to the specified designs.

Could this role be for you?

• Proven experience at BMS Package or Project Lead level working for a main contractor, ideally in mission-critical environments such as data centres.
• In-depth knowledge of design, installation, and commissioning processes for mechanical, electrical, and BMS.
• A strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and construction standards.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
