Job summary

Talent Finder is seeking an experienced Production Manager for its Jewellery Quarter facility in Birmingham. The role focuses on planning and overseeing production, improving efficiency, and leading a team within a jewellery/regalia manufacturing context.

The ideal candidate has prior production management experience in manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and familiarity with ERP systems. A relevant degree is preferred, and the role offers a competitive salary and employer incentives.

Qualifications

• Previous production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Proactive, driven approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team by example.
• Experience in regalia, jewellery or similar small metalwork manufacturing.
• Previous knowledge of ERP software.
• A degree in economics, business studies, engineering or another relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor production schedules.
• Ensure customer orders are completed and dispatched on time.
• Maintain high quality standards throughout production.
• Monitor supplier and outworker costs and deadlines.
• Keep the Sales team updated on order progress.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee site health and safety.
• Maintain high standards of site housekeeping.
• Manage and support production staff.
