Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is seeking a Production Manager for their Jewellery Quarter facility in Birmingham. The role involves planning and overseeing production, driving efficiency and supervising staff to ensure orders are completed on time and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have production management experience in manufacturing, preferably within jewellery or regalia, with strong leadership, organisational skills and a proactive, detail-focused approach.

Job description

Production Manager | Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham | Full Time | Up to £35,000 per annum DOE

Our client has an iconic history and a reputation for serving clubs, associations, trade and student unions nationally and internationally over many years. They hold a Royal Warrant as a supplier of Gold and Silver Laces, Insignia and Embroidery. They are proud to supply regalia, jewels, insignia and a broad range of other items to customers around the world, creating styles that celebrate colour, texture, craftsmanship and innovative design.

The Role

They are seeking an experienced Production Manager to run their Birmingham production facility, preferably with experience in regalia, jewellery or similar areas. In this role, you will be planning and overseeing production, increasing efficiency and managing staff. This role requires previous managerial experience, ideally in a workshop-like factory making jewellery, regalia or similar small metal objects.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Essential

• Previous Production Management experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Trade experience
• Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
• Proactive, driven approach with a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team by example
• Friendly and encouraging approach to team management

Desirable

• Experience in regalia, jewellery or similar small metalwork manufacturing
• Previous knowledge of ERP software
• A degree in economics, business studies, engineering or another relevant subject
