Job summary

Ribble Valley Borough Council in Clitheroe is seeking casual loaders to support the refuse collection service. The role is part-time with no guaranteed hours and an immediate start.

You will load refuse and paper/cardboard from all areas of the borough and assist in three-stream waste collection. Applicants must be physically capable of frequent vehicle entries/exits and lifting heavy items.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of repeated entries/exits of refuse collection vehicles.
• Able to carry, lift and manoeuvre heavy materials and waste bins.

Responsibilities

• Load refuse and paper/cardboard materials from all areas of the Borough.
• Assist in all aspects of the refuse collection service.
