Job summary

Ribble Valley Borough Council is seeking Casual Loaders at Salthill Depot – Clitheroe to support the refuse and recycling service. This role involves loading refuse and paper/cardboard materials and assisting in all aspects of the waste collection process.

Hours are not guaranteed, with immediate starts; you must be physically capable of repeated entries and exits from refuse vehicles and walking and lifting. The post covers for annual leave and other absences as required.

Responsibilities

• Load refuse and paper/cardboard materials from all areas of the Borough.
• Assist in all aspects of the refuse collection service.
• Support the 3-stream waste collection system and associated duties.
