Job summary

Hales Group is seeking reliable Refuse Loaders to join a busy waste management team in Ufford, Woodbridge. This temporary ongoing role involves manual handling, outdoor duties, and assisting with collection rounds alongside the driver, with a 6:00am to 4:45pm schedule and a temporary ongoing contract.

You must demonstrate strong communication, work well solo or in a team, and show commitment to service standards and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and load refuse, recycling, and garden waste into collection vehicles.
• Operate bin-lift mechanisms according to safety protocols.
• Assist with collection of bulky items and special waste pickups.
• Support the driver during vehicle manoeuvres, including reversing.
• Perform cleansing tasks such as litter picking and hand-sweeping designated areas.
• Complete daily collection rounds efficiently while observing health and safety procedures.

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our clients waste management team as Refuse Loaders. Main Duties of Refuse Loader Include:

• Safely handle and load refuse, recycling, and garden waste from containers (e.g., wheeled bins, sacks, boxes) into collection vehicles
• Operate bin-lift mechanisms in accordance with safety protocols
• Assist with the collection of bulky items and special waste pickups
• Support the driver during vehicle manoeuvres, including reversing
• Perform cleansing tasks such as litter picking, emptying street bins, and hand-sweeping designated areas
• Complete daily collection rounds efficiently while adhering to health and safety procedures

LOCATION: Ufford, Woodbridge

HOURS: 6am-4.45pm

ROTA: Working UPTO 5 days per week between Monday and Friday

PAY: £13.69 per hour

DURATION: Temporary ongoing
