Job summary

The Best Connection is actively seeking a Refuse Collector in Carlisle to join our outdoor-focused team. You will help keep the city clean by lifting and loading waste containers as part of a friendly crew, with a 37.5 hour week from Monday to Friday.

Starting immediately with induction, pay starts at £12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks, rising to £13.47 thereafter. Bank Holidays are paid at double time.

Position: Refuse Collector

Location: Carlisle, Cumbria

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (first 12 weeks) rising to £13.47 after 12 consecutive weeks

Overtime: Bank Holidays paid at double time

Start Date: Immediate, Induction on Wednesday 23rd September 7am.

Hours: Monday to Friday, minimum 37.5 hours per week
