South Cambridgeshire District Council is looking for Refuse Loaders on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This physically demanding role involves lifting bins, walking routes, and working outdoors from 6:00am to 3:45pm, Tue–Fri. You must have reliable transport to reach early starts.

Responsibilities

• Taking care when working around the refuse collection vehicle and other road users.
• Completing collection routes safely and efficiently.
• Working hours: 6:00am – 3:45pm, Tuesday to Friday. You will be paid for the full scheduled working day, although crews will typically finish earlier once their route has been completed.

Pay: £13.77 per hour, increasing to £15.00 per hour after 12 weeks

Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00am – 3:45pm
