Job summary

Standage & Co Limited, a Peckham-based refurbishment main contractor, seeks a capable Quantity Surveyor to cover pre- and post-contract work. You will price tenders, procure subcontractor packages and commercially manage live projects through to final account.

The role values breadth across the commercial journey and practical, price-focused thinking. We’re a small, connected team delivering housing, education and commercial refurbishment.

Qualifications

• Solid main-contractor refurbishment experience across pre- and post-contract work.
• Ability to measure, price, build up rates and price construction work.
• Experience with obtaining quotes, identifying risks and developing competitive tenders.
• Involvement in procurement, valuations, variations, CVRs and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Measure and price works on pre-contracts; build up rates and review subcontractor quotations.
• Measure, price and price construction work on live projects; support procurement and cost control.
• Participate in valuations, variations, CVRs and forecasting; support final accounts and contractual matters.
