Job summary

Field Solutions Group is seeking a Refrigeration Service Engineer to support a global refrigeration manufacturer in the local region. You will perform hands-on fault finding, reactive repairs and preventive maintenance, and assist with installations and commissioning where needed.

The ideal candidate holds a current F-gas qualification with CO2 experience, strong communication skills, and a solid focus on Health & Safety.

Qualifications

• Current F-gas qualification is essential.
• Hands-on problem solving with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental issues.
• Refrigeration certification (City & Guilds) and CO2 experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems.
• Undertake preventative maintenance work as requested.
• Cover 24 hour call out on a rota basis.
• Receive, respond and advise on calls from the Service Office.
• Carry out or assist on installation work when required.
• Carry out commissioning at local level where required.

Refrigeration Service Engineer

This opportunity is with a global leading Refrigeration manufacturer.This role will be covering the advertised region.

Successful applicant must have current F-gas qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• To carry out reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems
• To undertake preventative maintenance work as requested
• To cover 24 hour call out on a rota basis
• To receive, respond and advise on calls passed from the Service Office
• To carry out or assist on installation work, when required
• To carry out commissioning at local level where required

Experience and Key Skills:

• Capable of hands‑on problem solving with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
• Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks.
• Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Commercial awareness.
• Self‑motivated but able to work as part of a team.
