Job summary

Field Solutions Group is seeking a Refrigeration Service Engineer to cover the advertised region. The role requires a current F‑gas qualification and strong hands-on repair skills for commercial refrigeration systems.

You will participate in reactive repairs, preventative maintenance, and on-call duties, with installation and commissioning support where needed. The ideal candidate will bring solid problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive, safety-conscious mindset to work

Qualifications

• Must have current F‑gas qualification.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental issues.
• Relevant refrigeration certification (City & Guilds) is required.
• Experience with CO2 systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems.

• Cover 24 hour call out on a rota basis.
• Receive, respond and advise on calls passed from the Service Office.
• Carry out or assist on installation work, when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems
• Undertake preventative maintenance work as requested
• Cover 24 hour call out on a rota basis
• Receive, respond and advise on calls passed from the Service Office
• Carry out or assist on installation work, when required
• Carry out commissioning at local level where required
