Job summary

McM Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a growing North West team. You will service, maintain and repair heavy commercial and CO₂ refrigeration systems across a variety of commercial sites, with ongoing training and clear career progression.

This permanent, full-time role includes a company vehicle, and requires fault diagnosis, response to breakdowns, and strict adherence to industry regulations and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Refrigeration Service Engineer
• Experience servicing and maintaining heavy commercial and CO₂ refrigeration systems
• F-Gas Certification
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise customer downtime
• Servicing heavy commercial and CO₂ refrigeration equipment
• Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdown calls
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations and health and safety standards
• Providing a professional service and building strong relationships with customers
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
