Job summary

Pertemps Network Group in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a growing field-based team. You will travel across the M25 corridor, servicing commercial refrigeration equipment at client sites and responding to planned and reactive service calls.

The role demands diagnosing faults quickly, performing repairs, and completing preventive maintenance while complying with Health & Safety and F-Gas regulations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent) required.
• Valid F-Gas Certification.
• CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment across customer sites.
• Service, maintain and repair cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, freezer units and related refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults quickly and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance visits across sites around the M25.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and F-Gas regulations.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service.
• Participate in on-call rota and attend emergency call-outs around the M25 region.
• Travel extensively and work across customer sites around the M25 corridor.
• Work independently and manage workload efficiently.

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a growing service team operating from Milton Keynes. This is a field-based position supporting a wide range of commercial customers, with the majority of work located throughout the M25 corridor.

The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling daily around the M25, working across a varied customer base and responding to both planned and reactive service calls. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment across customer sites throughout the M25 corridor.
• Service, maintain and repair cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, freezer units and associated refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs to minimise customer downtime.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance visits across sites around the M25.
• Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation and F-Gas regulations.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times.
• Participate in the on-call rota and attend emergency call-outs across the M25 region when required.
• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Service Engineer.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
• Valid F-Gas Certification.
• CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Happy to travel extensively and work across customer sites around the M25 corridor.
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload efficiently.
