Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Refrigeration Engineers for permanent and temporary roles across a large retail FM portfolio. This field-based position focuses on service, maintenance and reactive support across multiple sites.

Key duties include fault finding, PPMS aligned with SFG20 standards, and compliant documentation. Candidates must have NVQ/City & Guilds in Refrigeration & A/C and hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on commercial refrigeration systems in retail/FM environments.
• NVQ/City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration systems (packs, integrals, walk-ins).
• Fault finding and reactive breakdown response.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20 standards.
• Ensuring all work complies with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.
• Accurate completion of job reports via PDA/CAF system.
• Provide excellent client-facing service on-site.

OTE of £55K - £60K + £2K Joining bonus (for permanent roles)

We are currently recruiting experienced Refrigeration Engineers to join a well-established national facilities management provider supporting a major retail portfolio. Due to seasonal demand and ongoing contract growth, opportunities are available on both a permanent and temporary basis.

This is a field-based role focused on delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and reactive support across a large-scale supermarket estate.
