Job summary

McM Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our growing team covering the North West. The role involves service, maintenance and repairs on heavy commercial and CO₂ refrigeration systems across commercial sites.

You will work on-site, carry out preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, complete service reports, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Refrigeration Service Engineer
• Experience servicing and maintaining heavy commercial and CO2 refrigeration systems
• F-Gas Certification
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise customer downtime
• Servicing heavy commercial and CO2 refrigeration equipment
• Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdown calls
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations and health and safety standards
• Providing a professional service and building strong relationships with customers
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
