Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is recruiting Refrigeration Engineers to join a national facilities management provider supporting a major retail portfolio. This field-based role delivers high-quality service, maintenance and reactive support across a large supermarket estate.Working hours are 40 or 45 per week, with permanent or temporary contracts. OTE £55K–£60K plus a £2K joining bonus for permanent roles. NVQ/City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Proven experience on commercial refrigeration in retail or FM.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems across a large-scale supermarket estate.
• Fault finding and reactive breakdown response.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20 standards.
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.
• Accurate completion of job reports via PDA/CAF system.
• Providing excellent client-facing service while on-site.

We are currently recruiting experienced Refrigeration Engineers to join a well-established national facilities management provider supporting a major retail portfolio. Due to seasonal demand and ongoing contract growth, opportunities are available on both a permanent and temporary basis.

This is a field-based role focused on delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and reactive support across a large-scale supermarket estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems (packs, integrals, walk-ins)
• Fault finding and reactive breakdown response
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20 standards
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards
• Accurate completion of job reports via PDA/CAF system
• Providing excellent client-facing service while on-site

Requirements:

• Proven experience working on commercial refrigeration systems within a retail or FM environment
• NVQ / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
