Job Title: F-Gas Qualified Maintenance / Refrigeration Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled maintenance/refrigeration engineer qualified in F-Gas to undertake PPM and reactive breakdown repairs on a range of commercial catering and refrigeration solutions. Our client is a global leader in niche infrastructure solutions, established for over 30 years, and currently expanding. They are looking for a proactive, experienced Site-based Refrigeration Engineer to join their successful technical support division.

The successful candidate will primarily be based at the Cheltenham facility, with occasional projects at nearby sites and nationwide travel for installations. A full UK driving license is essential.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Undertake planned preventative maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration equipment, and perform reactive fault-finding and repairs efficiently.
2. Develop comprehensive knowledge of refrigeration equipment, conducting safety checks to ensure safety and functionality.
3. Identify and resolve technical issues, diagnose faults, order parts for first-time fixes, and complete maintenance documentation.
4. Conduct inspections and reports for business and client needs, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations.
5. Support Technical Support and Projects Departments with maintenance, repairs, and installations.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced multi-skilled engineer with expertise in build, fault diagnosis, and repair of catering equipment. Excellent communication skills, adherence to Health and Safety requirements, and accurate documentation are essential in this fast-paced industry.

To qualify, you must possess:

• Essential:
• F-Gas qualifications
• At least 3 years of experience in refrigeration and catering equipment environments
• Proven electrical skills

Additional experience in testing and repairing electrical catering equipment, basic plumbing, commercial warewashing, and gas work will be advantageous.
