Job Description:

Static Commercial Refrigeration Engineer required. Our client is a specialist refrigeration company, with multiple offices throughout the UK, who specialise in the hiring out of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment, such as chilled and frozen display units, chilled and frozen storage, ice cream cabinets, ice machines and bottle coolers etc.

• £35,000 to £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• Working hours 8am - 4:30pm
• 23 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

• Would suit an experienced engineer, looking for a work-life balance.

The refrigeration engineer will split their time working static at the client's yard in the Cheltenham area, performing planned service works and repair work on equipment coming back from hire. Equipment includes all of the above-mentioned types. The engineer will hold recognised qualifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or the City & Guilds equivalent, as well as F-Gas or Safe Handling of Refrigerants certifications.

• Planned service and repair of small to medium commercial refrigeration systems returned from hire
• Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems
• Experience working on refrigeration cabinets, ice machines, and bottle coolers
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• F-Gas 2079 - Cat1
• Based within a commutable distance to the depot near Cheltenham
