We have an exciting opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer to join an established family-run business in Pershore.

ACRS Limited is one of the leading independent service providers of installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration in Worcestershire and surrounding areas.

We pride ourselves in carrying out high standards of installation work with exceptional follow-on support for all of our customers.

Established in 2000, the business has a well-established customer base, running out of purpose-built premises in Pershore. We are looking to grow the team with this exciting position as we head into our 25th year of trading.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Refrigeration Engineer. The Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, mechanical engineering, and providing customer service.

• To carry out repairs on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment
• Repairs and maintenance to cold rooms, chillers, wine cellars, serve over counters, commercial refrigeration equipment, occasional larger domestic fridges
• To carry out maintenance and leak testing on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment
• To be on call 1 in every 5 to 6 weeks depending on staff employed at the time.
• To be responsible for van stock and liaising with office staff and line manager on stock requirements when levels low.
• Health and Safety Awareness
• Lone working and being responsible for customer premises sometimes if key provided.
• Completing job sheets, time sheets and risk assessments electronically.
• To be smart and tidy and wear appropriate Company clothes and PPE.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of experience within the Refrigeration industry carrying out breakdown repairs.
• Hold an NVQ 2 or higher in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (not essential)
• Hold an F-GAS Cat 2 (essential)
• Must hold a Clean Driving Licence
• IPAF (not essential, can be processed during employment)
• DBS check (not essential, can be processed during employment)

• Salary circa 38k to 42k dependent on experience
