Job summary

Pure Talent Group in Lancashire is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a specialist support team covering the North West. This full-time permanent role involves servicing and repairing commercial refrigeration and cooling systems.

Based in Blackburn area, you will carry out planned maintenance, diagnose faults, attend breakdowns on a paid call-out rota, and keep clear service records, with opportunities for CO2 refrigeration work and ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing refrigeration systems.
• F-Gas certification.
• Relevant refrigeration and air conditioning qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good fault-finding skills and a professional approach to customer service.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join an established specialist supporting customers across the North West.

This is a varied service role working on commercial refrigeration and cooling systems, with opportunities to develop your technical skills within a supportive engineering team.

The role:

• Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs
• Attend breakdowns and take part in a paid call‑out rota
• Keep accurate service records and communicate clearly with customers
• Work independently, with support from the wider team
• You’ll service, maintain and repair a varied range of refrigeration equipment, including walk‑in cold rooms, cold storage systems and water chillers, alongside some air conditioning work. There is also scope to work on CO₂ refrigeration systems, with technical training available to develop your experience.
