Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer for a full-time, permanent role in Stockton-on-Tees. The position offers an OTE £52,000–£58,000, dependent on experience, with a company van and on-call rota.

duties include diagnosing faults, performing preventive maintenance, and liaising with commercial clients while following health & safety requirements. A DBS may be required and driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning engineer with Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 (FGas).
• Experience on a variety of refrigeration systems: fridges, freezers, display cabinets, cold-rooms, chillers.
• Air-conditioning experience on Split AC systems, VRV, AHU.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on refrigeration and AC equipment.
• Perform routine planned preventive maintenance.
• Complete all documentation for reactive and planned maintenance works.
