Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role covers maintenance, servicing and repair of refrigeration equipment across customer locations, including supermarket contracts.

The position involves working within Derbyshire/Staffordshire and offers a 40-hour week with overtime and a generous benefits package. Key duties include prioritising maintenance, completing PPMs, handling documentation, ordering parts, and conducting

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years refrigeration experience on commercial equipment.
Hydrocarbon (Training will be provided).
CO2 refrigeration training / certification (Training will be provided).
IPAF 3a,b MEWPS training (Training will be provided).
Electrical Fault Finding / Wiring Reg (18th Edition).

Responsibilities

Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements.
To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.
To order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/ RFM.
